Ragged Edge Community Theatre. Since 1989 thousands of people have taken a seat to enjoy live community theatre productions.

The Ragged Edge Community Theatre serves the Harrodsburg community and the many visitors to our area. Audiences have enjoyed performances such as Annie Get Your Gun, The Wizard of Oz, Always Patsy Cline, and many more.

As you probably know, the Ragged Edge’s seats have seen better days; they are in desperate need of replacement. The theatre has received a grant from the Kentucky Colonels to help with the cost of replacing the seats. The grant is a matching gift grant which means we need to raise the remaining amount of money prior to February 29, 2011 in order to replace the seats. Won’t you help move the theatre forward by taking a seat?

How can you take your seat at the Ragged Edge?

A contribution of $250 will allow you to take your seat. This includes an engraved plaque on the back of the seat. A certificate of thanks will be sent to you when the new seats have been installed showing you the location of the seat you have sponsored. You will also be invited to the gala at the end of the campaign.

A minimum $50 contribution will allow you to be recognized as a seat supporter. This includes your name engraved on the “Take a Seat” plaque to be hung in the lobby at the Ragged Edge.

Contributions to the Take a Seat campaign are gifts to the Ragged Edge Community Theatre and are tax deductible.

With a little luck and the help of friends like you, we know we can complete the campaign and unveil the new seats before the February deadline.
